Crofton Map
Crofton Hole1

Hole 1

Par 4 388 yards

A saddled fairway with hazard on the right side and water on the left.  Big hitters may want to gear down for the water is reachable.  The second shot will be to an uphill green so you may need to add an extra club.  Large green with a sand trap on the right side, thick grass on the left and trees in the back.  If the pin is up front play to the middle of the green, anything short will roll back off the green.

Crofton Hole2

Hole 2

Par 4 330 yards

A short par 4 with plenty of trouble. Hazards left and right, fairway sand traps 160 to 208 yards off the tee box and a green surrounded by sand traps and hazard to the back. If the wind is out of the south or east and you are accurate with your driver, let it rip, if not hit your 180 to 190 yard club and you will have 130 to 110 yard downhill shot to a 2 tiered green.

Crofton Hole 3

Hole 3

Par 4 398 yards

Hole #3 is a sharp dog leg to the right. The dog leg is guarded by a large oak tree that demands a good tee shot with a 220 yard carry to make the corner. If you try to cut the corner off of the tee box you need a long carry with a chance of going into the forest or through the fairway and into a thick rough or hazard. Don’t relax; the next shot is even more demanding. The green is guarded by a tree hazard and a sand trap on the right side. If you land short on your approach shot the sloping fairway may cause the ball to run through the back of the green. The new green is surrounded by trees and moguls so lining up your putt is difficult and don’t expect it to be straight.

Crofton Hole 4

Hole 4

Par 4 516 yards

A generous right to left slopping fairway for your tee shot with hazard to the right. The second shot depending on your tee shot is when the difficulty begins. The fairway narrows at the 100 yard marker with hazard left and right and a two tiered green with a sand trap to the front right and back left. Depending on your game you can layup to the 110 yard area or try for that lovely eagle with a longer club. Good luck!!!

Crofton Hole 5

Hole 5

Par 3 142 yards

This is our signature hole.  Downhill tee shot, so use less club unless the wind is blowing out of the northwest; then improvise.  A two tiered green with lots of subtle breaks.  A sand trap and OB long, hazard left and right.  Enjoy the view!!

Crofton Hole 6

Hole 6

Par 5 492 yards

An uphill dogleg right with OB and hazard to the right. A tee shot to a generous fairway, but if you’re not in the fairway your second shot is usually the most difficult because of a thick rough and numerous trees. Try to avoid being long for no matter where the pin is located it makes for a tough up and down on this large 2 tiered green.

Crofton Hole 7

Hole 7

Par 4 272 yards

A short but sharp dog leg left with OB on the right all the way to the green. The green is closely guarded by large sand traps left and right. If you want to hit your driver over the trees make sure you have a good sand game, because you will need it. The green slopes from front to back so any approach shot is hard to keep on the green.

Crofton Hole 8

Hole 8

Par 3 180 yards

Uphill with OB to the right and long. Take a longer club than normal because the large green is faced with sand traps and moguls. Be aware of the wind direction because you won’t feel it on the tee box.

Crofton Hole 9

Hole 9

Par 4 431 yards

An accurate tee shot to the dogleg left fairway is required. To far left and the thick grass and trees will hinder your approach shot. To far right and OB looms along with a longer approach shot. The green is well guarded by two large sand bunkers and numerous trees and moguls.
